A week ago, our HR Department conducted a survey about our work condition in the office. This was triggered because of the increasing personnel turn-over. A lot of our colleagues have been resigning. After the survey, a Focus Group Discussion was organized where the facilitator randomly selected employees to join the activity. I got to participate in one.
I work for a well-known company included in the list of the top corporations. When I got accepted to join the company, I was very enthusiastic and thought that this is the company. I plan to work for until my retirement…that’s how I felt two years ago. Everything is different now.

This long weekend, I’ve been busy cleaning up my room to provide space for my work area. My dad bought his own laptop so I get to keep the old one. My mom spilled soda on the old laptop keyboard now it’s no longer working, I asked a colleague to have it repaired but there’s no available keyboard replacement for my laptop model. I had no choice but to buy an external keyboard.

Paperback or Widescreen: The Last Song Review
A few weeks ago, I watched the movie “The Last Song” starring Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth. I was very excited to see this movie not because I’m a huge fan of Hannah Montana but because I’ve read Nicholas Sparks’ novel and was pretty much touched with how the story about this rebellious daughter who hated her dad so much for abandoning their family ended up loving her dad even more when she finally understood everything before it was too late. I was very disappointed that the movie focused more on the love story between Ronnie (Miley) and Will (Liam).

I joined a Filipino community forum in the World Wide Web four years ago because I wanted to get personal views of people I personally don’t know about a relationship issue I’ve been dealing with. I wanted an unbiased opinion, so I posted a question in that forum. I’ve got a lot of responses from that post which made me realize how everyone’s opinion differs in so many ways. Ever since, I got hooked with that forum and there, I’ve met a lot friends and acquaintances.
